Meet Hector, the furry inspiration and guiding light behind NutriFlex – a brand dedicated to giving pets longer, healthier lives. Hector, our remarkable mini schnauzer, enjoyed almost 18 orbits around the sun and left an indelible mark on our journey.
My journey began in 2004 when I moved to South Africa with my beloved Giant Schnauzer, Riley and 36 koi fish. Tragically, Riley passed away just weeks later due to a severe reaction to mandatory immigration vaccinations. Heartbroken, I found solace in Hector, a feisty pup who managed to get himself dismissed from puppy school for being untrainable.
Determined to give Hector the best possible life, I turned to nutrition as the key to longevity. Despite early signs of joint issues, he thrived—running on the beach, chasing waves, and defying the odds. But at 12 years old, when he struggled to stand, I was told it was time to say goodbye. Refusing to accept that fate, I sought a second opinion. That decision, combined with our collagen-based joint supplement, changed everything—within days, Hector was back on his feet, pain-free and full of life.
That lightbulb moment sparked the creation of NutriFlex—a science-backed range of pet supplements expertly formulated by veterinarians and animal nutritionists to support optimal health, vitality and longevity. Thanks to this breakthrough, Hector thrived for six more incredible years, nearly reaching his 18th orbit around the sun. Even as his hearing faded, our daily beach walks remained a cherished ritual until the very end.

My order was simply cancelled without informing me despite payment having been made. I was subsequently told that this is a common “snapscan” issue. If you know it is an issue, why offer it as a payment option? Or why don’t you communicate that the order was cancelled and explain why, instead of letting your customers follow up with you when the delivery doesn’t materialise? The product (Dentamax) itself is excellent.
