Why every day
Care that starts before problems do.
Your pet’s skin is rebuilding itself all the time. New cells rise from below to renew the outer layer roughly every three weeks. Every hair in that coat grows from a follicle anchored in the skin underneath. All of it runs on nutrition, every single day.
That’s why skincare belongs in the food bowl. Everyday Skincare feeds healthy skin what it’s built from, every day, so you’re caring for it on the good days too, not only when something shows up. The best day to start is the day they come home. The next best day is today.

Everyday Skincare or Skin Reset?
This bundle
NutriFlex® Everyday Skincare
For healthy dogs and cats you want to keep well. Daily nourishment for skin, coat and joints at every age from 8 weeks.
Recurring itch
NutriFlex® Skin Reset
For dogs caught in a cycle of itching, yeasty paws or hot spots that keep coming back. Pairs YeastEaze with OmegaMax™.
When skin runs low
What happens when skin goes without.
Your pet can't store up good skin. When the nutrients it's built from run low, the changes creep in so slowly that most pet parents only notice them looking back at old photos. The coat that used to gleam looks flat. The fur that felt silky feels coarse.
Short on collagen-building protein
Skin loses its spring
- Skin turns thin and loses its elasticity
- Hair turns brittle and sheds easily
- The coat is slow to grow back
- Skin becomes scaly
Watson, Journal of Nutrition, 1998
Short on essential fats like omega-3s
Skin dries out
- Skin loses moisture and turns scaly
- The coat goes thin, dull and unkempt
- Small scrapes are slower to heal
- Skin becomes dry and itchy
Kirby, Hester and Bauer, Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association, 2007; Combarros et al., Prostaglandins, Leukotrienes and Essential Fatty Acids, 2020
Skin and coat use 25 to 30% of your pet's daily protein. Hair is about 95% protein and skin renews itself every few weeks, so the coat is one of the first places a shortfall shows (Watson, Journal of Nutrition, 1998).
Spot the signs
Is their skin asking for more?
Run your hand along their back, part the fur and take a close look in good light. These everyday signs tell you skin and coat are running low on nourishment.
A dull coat
No shine in the sun, or fur that feels dry and coarse when you stroke it.
Kirby et al., 2007; Combarros et al., 2020
Flakes
White specks of dandruff in the coat or left behind on their bed.
Watson, 1998; Kirby et al., 2007
Dry skin
Part the fur and the skin underneath looks rough, dry or scaly.
Kirby et al., 2007; Combarros et al., 2020
Shedding that won’t stop
Hair on the couch all year round, not only during the seasonal moult.
Watson, 1998
Brittle, slow-growing hair
Hair that snaps easily or takes months to grow back after a clip.
Watson, 1998
More scratching
Scratching, licking or nibbling at their skin more than they used to.
Combarros et al., 2020
A matted, unkempt look
A coat that looks matted or untidy instead of sleek. Especially telling in cats, who normally keep themselves immaculate.
Kirby et al., 2007
Spotted one or two? Start Everyday Skincare and check again in two months. Skin and coat changes take 2 to 3 months to build up (Watson, 1998). In the dog coat trial, that’s when coats showed their full improvement (Combarros et al., 2020).
Itch that keeps coming back, hot spots or yeasty paws? That’s a job for NutriFlex® Skin Reset.

Fed ultra-processed food?
Why ultra-processed bowls need it most.
Many pets eat ultra-processed food such as kibble: cooked under high heat and pressure, shaped to stay crunchy and made to last for months in the bag. That convenience comes at a cost to the fats and protein skin depends on most.
Three ways the bag falls short. One daily answer.
Omega-3s fade in the bag
What’s on the label may not reach the bowl
Omega-3s are fragile fats that break down with air, warmth and time. In a 2026 study of oil-coated dry dog food stored at room temperature for 15 months, EPA fell by 99% and DHA by 78%.
Rankovic et al., Journal of Animal Science, 2026
Too much omega-6
The balance tips the wrong way
Plant oils and fat from grain-fed animals are rich in omega-6. Market prices have pushed pet food to rely on them more and more. US feeding standards allow up to 30 parts omega-6 for every part omega-3, while researchers now recommend staying below 10 to 1.
Burron et al., Journal of Animal Science, 2024
Starch takes up space
Less room for protein
Kibble needs starch from grains or potato to hold its shape and crunch. The more starch in the bag, the less space is left for protein. That matters, because skin and coat use 25 to 30% of your pet’s daily protein.
Le Guillas et al., Animals, 2024; Watson, Journal of Nutrition, 1998
That’s why Everyday Skincare matters even more on ultra-processed food. OmegaMax™ adds omega-3s to the bowl at mealtime, kept fresh with natural vitamin E instead of fading in a bag. Maintenance Collagen adds 4 g of protein per scoop in the form skin is built from.
How the pair works
Skin never stops building. Neither should their nutrition.
A puppy or kitten is growing new skin to cover a body that gets bigger by the week. An adult renews theirs constantly. A senior keeps rebuilding through every birthday. Every stage runs on the same two nutrients: collagen for the firm, supple layer underneath and omega-3s that help the surface hold its moisture. Most pet diets fall short on omega-3s from the very first bowl.
Maintenance Collagen supplies the collagen. OmegaMax™ supplies the omega-3s. One works deep in the skin while the other works at the surface. Start both from 8 weeks and keep going for life.
Collagen peptides
The structural protein that keeps skin firm
Type I collagen makes up 75% of your pet’s skin. It forms the dense, springy layer under the surface that keeps skin supple and anchors every hair follicle. Hydrolysed collagen and gelatin break down into small peptides plus the amino acids glycine and proline, the nutrients your pet uses to build their own collagen.
OptiMSM®
Sulphur for skin and hair
Keratin, the protein that hair and the outer layer of skin are made from, is rich in sulphur. OptiMSM® is a natural source of it, supporting strong hair, a healthy coat and the connective tissue collagen builds.
EPA
Calm, comfortable skin
EPA balances the omega-6 fats that fill most commercial ultra-processed pet food, helping skin stay calm and comfortable from the inside.
DHA
Skin cells that hold moisture
DHA is built into the membrane of every skin cell, keeping cells flexible and well hydrated. Hydrated skin feels soft and shows it in a coat with real shine.
Collagen and MSM build the structure. Omega-3s keep it supple, calm and hydrated. One feeds the frame while the other feeds the finish. That’s why we pair them instead of asking you to choose.
Benefits for dogs and cats
What a daily scoop and pump do for your pet.
Supple, hydrated skin
Collagen keeps skin firm and elastic while omega-3s help it hold its moisture. Less dryness, less flaking, more comfort in their own skin.
Why it works: collagen peptides from Maintenance build the skin’s frame. EPA and DHA from OmegaMax™ nourish every skin cell.
A soft, glossy coat
The shine pet parents notice first. Omega-3 oils nourish the coat from the follicle up while natural sulphur supports strong, healthy hair.
Why it works: omega-3s from OmegaMax™ plus OptiMSM®, natural sulphur for keratin.
A healthy skin barrier
Skin is your pet’s first line of defence. Well-nourished, hydrated skin keeps moisture in and everyday irritants out.
Why it works: omega-3s in the skin cell membranes, collagen in the layer beneath.
Bonus: easy joints and mobility
The same routine looks after their joints. Collagen and MSM supply what cartilage, tendons and ligaments are built from. Omega-3s support joint mobility, so they keep running, jumping and taking the stairs.
Why it works: collagen, gelatin and OptiMSM® for joint tissue, EPA for joint mobility.
Heart and brain support
OmegaMax™ also supports heart health and cognitive function, which matters more with every birthday.
Why it works: EPA and DHA, the long-chain omega-3s from wild-caught fish oil.
The science
Backed by research. Built for every day.
Each ingredient in Everyday Skincare has been studied for skin, coat or movement. Here’s what the research found.
Fish oil, in dogs
Better coats in 60 days
In a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, 24 dogs with poor coats received daily EPA and DHA fish oil for 90 days. Their skin and coat scores improved significantly by day 60. When the supplement stopped, the coats slid back to where they started.
Combarros et al., Prostaglandins, Leukotrienes and Essential Fatty Acids, 2020
EPA and DHA, in the laboratory
Helps keep yeast in check
Yeast lives naturally in your pet’s gut and is harmless while it stays in balance. When it gets the upper hand, the skin is often where it shows: itching, redness, greasy patches and a yeasty smell. Yeast (Candida albicans) protects itself with a biofilm, a shield that helps it cling on and makes it harder to shift. In laboratory studies, EPA broke up this shield and stopped the yeast switching into invasive branching threads that push into tissue, including the gut lining. EPA and DHA also reduced the formation of new biofilms.
Wang et al., Biofilm, 2024; Wang et al., Infection and Drug Resistance, 2022
Collagen, in people
Hydration and elasticity
A review of 26 randomised controlled trials with 1,721 participants found that hydrolysed collagen significantly improved skin hydration and elasticity compared with placebo.
Pu et al., Nutrients, 2023
OptiMSM®, in people
Firmer, more hydrated skin
Over 16 weeks, daily OptiMSM® improved skin hydration, firmness and elasticity, with hydration rising within the first 4 weeks.
Muizzuddin and Benjamin, International Journal for Vitamin and Nutrition Research, 2022
Skin renewal, in dogs
A new outer layer every 22 days
Researchers measured how fast canine skin renews itself: the living outer layer replaces itself in about 22 days. Skin that rebuilds this often needs nourishment every day.
Baker et al., American Journal of Veterinary Research, 1973
Collagen, in dogs
Easier movement
In an 8-week trial of 30 dogs, daily collagen hydrolysate reduced stiffness and lameness.
Beynen et al., American Journal of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, 2010
The lesson from the dog coat trial: the benefits last while the routine does. That’s why Everyday Skincare is built as a daily habit, not a short course.
These are studies of the ingredient classes, not trials of NutriFlex® Maintenance Collagen or OmegaMax™ themselves. The collagen and MSM skin studies were in people and the yeast studies were in the laboratory.
Who it’s for
For every pet you want to live forever.

- Long, double and wire coats: dogs whose coats show every dull day.

Refills: the collagen runs out first. Each product is served by body weight from its own pack, so they finish on different days. Reorder each one on its own when it runs low.
- On softgels: the tub and the jar finish close together. You’ll need a new tub a little before the jar.
- On the liquid: one bottle lasts as long as about two tubs for large and giant dogs, or two and a half tubs for cats and dogs up to 20 kg.
How to give it
Once a day with their main meal. Sprinkle the collagen over the food, add the pump of oil or the softgel and mix it in. The collagen is unflavoured, so it disappears into the bowl. New to either product? Start with half the serving of each for the first week, then move up to the full serving.

Questions
Frequently asked questions.
From what age can my pet start Everyday Skincare?
From 8 weeks old. NutriFlex® Maintenance Collagen and OmegaMax™ are both suitable from 8 weeks. Puppies and kittens take the serving for their current weight and move up a band as they grow.
Is Everyday Skincare the same as Skin Reset?
No. Skin Reset is for dogs caught in a cycle of recurring itch, yeasty paws or hot spots. It pairs YeastEaze with OmegaMax™. Everyday Skincare is for healthy dogs and cats you want to keep well. It pairs Maintenance Collagen with OmegaMax™ as a daily habit for skin, coat and joints.
My pet’s skin looks fine. Why start now?
Your pet’s skin renews its outer layer about every three weeks, so it needs nourishment every day, not only when something shows up. Starting while skin is healthy means you’re caring for it on the good days too. In a trial of dogs on daily fish oil, coats improved within two months then slipped back once the oil stopped, so consistency is what counts.
Should I choose the OmegaMax™ liquid or the softgels?
Choose the liquid for flexible serving, especially half pumps for cats and small dogs. Choose the softgels if you’d rather not refrigerate or want a pre-measured serving. Both give your pet the omega-3s EPA and DHA from purified, wild-caught fish oil.
Can cats take Everyday Skincare?
Yes. Cats get half a level scoop of collagen plus either half a pump of OmegaMax™ liquid or one softgel a day, mixed into their food. If your cat won’t eat a softgel whole, pierce it and squeeze the oil over the food.
Why do the two products run out at different times?
Each is served by body weight from its own pack size, so they finish on different days. For an 11 to 20 kg dog, a 250 g tub of collagen lasts 50 days, a bottle of OmegaMax™ liquid lasts 125 days and a jar of softgels lasts 60 days. Reorder each one on its own when it runs low.
Does Everyday Skincare help joints too?
Yes. Collagen and OptiMSM® supply what cartilage, tendons and ligaments are built from. OmegaMax™ supports joint mobility. For seniors or pets already showing stiffness, NutriFlex® Advanced gives intensive hip and joint care.
What if my pet has a soft tummy at first?
Some pets need a few days to get used to fish oil and collagen. Start with half the serving of each for the first week, then move up to the full serving. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving unless directed by a veterinarian.
More years. More love.
Keep them well. One bowl at a time.
From their first bowl to their grey-muzzled years: a scoop and a pump every day for healthy skin, a glossy coat and easy joints.
